CHAN 2018: Morocco humiliate Nigeria 4-0 to win first title
Atlas Lions of Morocco have emerged as Champions of CHAN 2018 tournament and they did it in style; beating home-based Super Eagles 4-0 on Sunday night in the final match played at Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca. Zakaria Hadraf scored two goals, while Walid El Karti and El Kaadi scored a goal each to give Morocco their first CHAN title. The last time the North Africans won an African title was in 1976. For Nigeria, it was a disastrous ending for a team that appeared to have prosecuted a glorious campaign. PT

Nigeria bobsledders welcomed home in Lagos ahead of Games
Three women set to make history by becoming the first people to represent Nigeria in the winter Olympics arrived in Africa's most populous country on Thursday amid final preparations ahead of the Games. English clubs the big spenders in record transfer year - FIFA report
Football clubs across the world splashed out a record $6.37 billion on players during 2017 with English teams again the biggest spenders, FIFA’s Global Transfer Market Report said. The total paid out was about 33 percent more than in 2016 as English clubs led the way with a net spend of $988 million on squad improvement.
