Mr Babagana Wakil, Chief of Staff to Borno State Governor, Mr Babagana Zulum, is dead.

The governor’s spokesperson, Mr Isa Gusau, announced this in a statement on Wednesday.

According to him, Wakil died this morning but details of his death were, however, not disclosed.

Gusau said remains of the deceased will be buried today in consonance with Islamic rites.
