A cleric, Mr Issa Abdulquadri Ayede, has admonished Nigerians, especially Muslims, to continue to live in peace with one another in the spirit of Ramadan period.

The Islamic Scholar gave the admonition while delivering this year's Inspiration 100.5 FM, Ibadan Ramadan lecture, held at the station's premises, Osuntokun Avenue, old Bodija, Ibadan.

He emphasized that there is the need for all Muslim faithful in and across the country to always have the fear of God, saying "as it is known, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom."

Ayede maintained further that time had come for every Nigerian particularly Muslims "to live in peace with everyone by following dictates of the Holy Quran, “because peaceful living will help to move the country forward”.

He then urged Muslims across the world to uphold the codes of Islam by abiding by the relevant tenets and Islamic injunctions.
