President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday had a dinner with South West caucus of All Progressives Congress (APC).
The dinner, which began at 8:35pm, took place behind the closed doors of the new Banquet Hall of Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.
It was attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, National Leader of APC, Mr Bola Tinubu and former Osun State Governor, Mr Bisi Akande.
Also in attendance were governors of Ogun and Oyo States, Mr Ibikunle Amosun and Mr Abiola Ajimobi respectively as well as APC gubernatorial candidate for the forthcoming Ekiti State election, Mr Kayode Fayemi and former governor Segun Oni.
The meeting was also attended by APC National Chairman, Mr John Odigie-Oyegun and Nasarawa State Governor Tanko Al-Makura who was chairman of APC Ekiti State governorship primary election committee.
Federal lawmakers and ministers as well as stakeholders from the Southwest were also present at the dinner.
Tinubu and Fayemi were scheduled to make remarks at the dinner; and Oyegun to speak last.
The dinner was ongoing as of the time of filing this report (9:40pm).
